Mika

Mika is originally from Portland, OR. She grew up training and competing nationally in Ballet, Jazz,
Tap, and Contemporary. Mika is a graduate of the Marymount Manhattan College BFA program,
where she concentrated in Modern Dance.

She has danced professionally with Nimbus Dance, McKoy Dance Project, Inclined Dance Project, and
Culpdid, and has performed works by notable
choreographers Robert Battle, Dawn Marie Bazemore, Darelle Grand Moultrie, and Jaqueline Buglisi.

Throughout her performance career, Mika has also developed a love for educating. She has worked
with students of all ages from beginners to professionals. Mika is passionate about sharing the power
of dance with her students, helping them discover the potential in their bodies, and fostering their
creative voices..
